Liz and Travis are dear friends of mine and Jonathan's. Travis and my hubby were roommates while we were all still dating couples, not even engaged yet! We were so psyched to shoot their wedding and still be partly guests :) It was a great experience! The weather was perfect, the wedding was intimate, and everyone was happy. Perfect shooting conditions!
The details :
Venue - Angel's Cottage on the Lake
Flowers - DIY arrangements - blooms ordered from Fiftyflowers.com and the farmer's market
Catering - The Pit
Cake - Dewey's Bakery
DJ - Brian Edmunds
I love this pillow from the bedroom where Liz and her girls were getting ready.
The ceremony site was situated right behind the cottage and Liz kept peeking out the window to see the guests arriving. So cute!
We set up a first look for Travis and Liz before the ceremony. This left us plenty of time for portraits and didn't take away time from the reception!
Travis was pretty nervous before the first look but he found a four leaf clover while waiting! I thought it was such a cute little reminder that he is a lucky guy to be marrying Liz! He kept it in his pocket during the wedding :)
I love Liz's face when she saw Travis. She was so excited but still calm :)
We shot some romantics right after the first look. The property of Angel's Cottage on the Lake is beautiful!
This is one of my favorite shots. They are so cute with each other!
Eskimo kisses are my favorite :)
Married!
I followed Liz and Travis after the ceremony and caught this cute intimate moment.
There was tons of fun dancing at the reception. Everyone was having a great time!
This is my favorite toasting shot ever. It is rare to find Liz without a Diet Mtn. Dew in her hand.
I stole Travis and Liz for a few portraits on the lake while the guests were dancing but by the time they got back to shore, all eyes were on them :) I don't blame them, our newlyweds were being so darn cute.
And the dancing continues!! Travis + Liz, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day! We love you both :)
