Ashley : Maternity Session!

Meet Ashley. She is pregnant with twin boys! I'm so excited for her.

This has to be one of the fastest sessions I've ever done! Ashley had work that afternoon so we shot the whole session in less than thirty minutes. It was so fun, though! Ashley was totally beaming the whole time, even when we had to battle super harsh winds at the park. Enjoy the images!






We started in the nursery. She is so ready for the boys to get here!







Love that her shirt has pockets! It's so cute.

I picked up some balloons from Bears, Balloons & Beyond to use in the shoot. I think it was a great idea but it was so windy at Bur-Mil park! Ashley handled it like a pro, though.

Baby Session : Corwin

Oh, I am so excited to post this :) Today is Corwin's two-week-old-birthday. He is so precious and was totally alert the whole time we were shooting. He didn't even cry! I know Frank and Michelle are so incredibly happy to have Corwin in their lives. Enjoy the photos!







LOVE these little toes.





I think this picture is so funny. Corwin didn't sleep at all during the session, he just closed his eyes for a few seconds. I think he looks so peaceful here.











This light was killing me... SO gorgeous!





















This is my total favorite from the session. I just love everything about it! Hope you enjoy, Michelle! I loved working with your new little guy :)

Baby Session : Isaac

Icely and I have been talking about doing this session forever and finally got to do it last week! Isaac is so active! He was crawling and rolling all over the place. So cute!







I love this face!





It makes me so happy when baby boys have this much hair. The faux hawk is perfect!









Isaac did not appreciate being put in his crib. He kept giving us a look like "what's going on?" It was so funny!











This is one of my favorites. I love the little collar on his shirt and the almost smile.



I would put a big print of this on my wall if I were his mama :)

Katie's Maternity Session : NC Maternity Photographer

Meet Katie. A beautiful mother of three kids with one on the way. She's almost 9 months pregnant and looks absolutely stunning! I was so excited to meet Katie and shoot with her and her sweet kiddos.

Isabelle warmed up to me a little bit and wanted to show me her baby doll.

Baby William : NC Baby Photography

This boy is going to be a heart breaker. Look at those sweet eyes and all his hair! Love it. I had so much fun photographing William. He is such a happy boy and loved the camera! Check it out...







It's only a matter of time before the babies try to grab the camera. I looooove this shot!







William was more than happy to take his clothes off for a little while.

I think his face is so cute here. He couldn't decide if he was going to cry or not.









This is one of my favorite baby series. He grew out of the shoes but we still wanted to get a few shots of him with them. I think it turned out great!





I love when babies are at this stage. He knows he can walk but can't quite keep his balance. I love the concentration on his face.



Baby kisses are the best :)

Sarah + Chris' Engagement Session : Old Salem

Sarah and Chris are one of my 2010 couples and I'm so excited to shoot their wedding in May! We shot their session in Old Salem where Chris proposed to Sarah. It was so sweet and sentimental! Chris grew up around the area so it was awesome to hear all of the history behind everything as we walked around.











These next few images were taken at the inn where Chris proposed. So romantic!









I love their faces in this image. Sarah was just about to laugh but she held it in for a second and we got this cute smile :)











I love the photos that are taken in between "the pose" ... it's so natural and real.







I have no idea what this plant is but it looks awesome. Any ideas, readers?













Chris is a Fireman and brought his helmet for a prop. Love it!







This is one of my faves.



We stopped under this overpass for a few minutes at the end of the session. I love all the lines and the light.
