I'm back! I hope that all of you had an awesome vacation/holiday like I did. I am so thankful that both sides of the family live close by and that we were able to see all of our parents and siblings, some cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, during the Christmas season.
Kati and Matthew were married right before Christmas on a beautiful (and chilly!) Saturday afternoon at Studio B in downtown Greensboro. I love the character of the venue, the intimate setting, and the snowflakes that fell during Kati and Matthew's first look! Check it out . . .

LOVE this window... and Kati's dress is pretty gorgeous too ;)
Kati's dad helped lace up the back of her wedding dress. . . such a special moment!
I was photographing Kati getting ready and looked to my side to find this precious scene. . . Kati's sister and dad taking in every moment.
Jonathan stayed with Matthew and the groomsmen during the getting ready process.
It's so funny to me that guys can get ready in about 5 minutes flat and have time to relax and have a toast before the ceremony!
Matthew and Kati chose to do a "first look" before the ceremony. This was such a good decision! Because this was a winter wedding, it was completely dark by the time the ceremony was over. I got to capture these sweet moments in the beautiful evening light, and snow!
Check out the perfume bottle that Matthew gave to Kati! Such a sweet and thoughtful gift. She was so happy with it!
A few shots of our handsome groom . . .
And signing the marriage license . . .
Ceremony time!
We ventured out into the dark, cold night for some romantics. Kati and Matthew have already scheduled a "day after" session so we can get some shots in the daylight, but we thought it was important to photograph them together on the actual wedding day :)
One of my favorites... they're so focused on each other and oblivious to everything else going on!
Jonathan grabbed this adorable bouquet shot while I was shooting our bride & groom.
I found the bridal party warming their deviled eggs over the centerpiece candle.
Kati and Matthew had cute napkins that made for a great ring shot.
Yeah, I spent a few minutes trying to balance the rings on this gumball. It was worth it.
This wedding had all the good elements... a few toasts . . .
Some dancing . . .
And a tender moment.
Kati and Matthew are big supporters of the "high five" and they ran through a whole tunnel of high fives to get to the getaway vehicle!
