Like I said in my last post, we didn't have time (or light) at Meredith & Seth's wedding to do any creative portraits of them together. Which was a total bummer! So we scheduled a "day after" session so Meredith and Seth could dress up again and get some awesome photos of them together. Despite the name "Day after", these sessions can take place anytime after you get married... weeks, months, even years! You don't even have to dress up again. I LOVE the idea and plan on doing this type of shoot with my husband sometime next year. It poured rain on our outdoor (tented!) wedding so we only got a couple of photos of us together (you'll hear more about our wedding in a later post). I can't wait to get dressed up again and get some good portraits with him!
So, because of my great love for Day After sessions I'm offering a Christmas special of half off a Day After session for you and your spouse. I think this would be an amazing Christmas present. A session includes an on-location shoot (location of your choosing), unlimited images, online viewing + ordering, and a DVD of the hi-resolution images for you to keep, and is now only $200. Email me for more details if you're interested! {alexa.photo@gmail.com} Session must be booked before Dec. 31st, 2009 but can take place anytime before Dec. 31st, 2010.
Now, on to the photos!
We started at the church where Seth and Meredith tied the knot. I'm loving the flare and the lines in this shot.
Jonathan (my hubby and photographer-in-training) came with me on this shoot and caught this great photo above.
Oh, this one makes me so happy inside. Gorgeous!!
We did a few more portraits of Seth alone since we only got a few on the wedding day.
The weather was so perfect!
We stopped at the O'Henry where the reception was held for the wedding. I LOVE this terrace!
This is the good thing about having two photographers, Jonathan got this shot...
...while I was getting this shot. Love the different angles!
This one is so classic.
Meredith is a teacher so I thought it would be cute to shoot with some school buses.
Setting up this shot was so funny, they couldn't get their heart shadow right! It's harder than it looks.
Meredith and Seth, I had a great time shooting with you!
