Megan + Bill : Engagement Session

We had a perfect session with Megan + Bill in Elon, NC. The whole session went so smoothly with the location, the weather, the couple... It was great! Minus the fact that the whole town of Elon apparently closes down when school gets out. We still managed to find an open restaurant to change clothes in so we could continue with our session.

I know I picked so many images for this post but I had such a hard time narrowing down my favorites. I love them all so much!

What you can't tell in this picture is that we had to shoo away a bunch of squirrels to shoot over by the pond. They wouldn't leave!





















How cute is this series? I would put these three prints together on a wall. Adorable!



Bill does some photography as a hobby so we had him practice a little on Megan.







This picture is what Megan + Bill were like all day! So fun to be around and always laughing. We had to try hard to get some no-smiling faces.

Megan + Bill : Engagement Sneak Peek!

This engagement session was rescheduled so many times but I finally got to photograph Megan + Bill at Elon University and in downtown Elon. I'm so glad we waited, the weather was perfect!

Kristin + Spence : Engagement Session

Woo-hoo! I've been working like a crazy person trying to finish Kristin + Spence's session before I leave for California in the morning. I am so happy with the way everything turned out!

We shot the session in North Myrtle Beach where Kristin and her mom had scouted out some great locations the week before! The beach is Kristin + Spence's favorite place to vacation. It's also where their love story started, so it was the perfect place to do their engagement session.



We started at the House of Blues where we found some awesome places to shoot.



Spence is a firefighter so I thought it would be really cute to shoot Kristin's ring on a fire hydrant!









The sky was overcast the whole day but it made for perfect light!







This one is definitely my favorite. I love how Kristin's hair is blowing in the wind!

We tried out some off-camera lighting a few times. I *love* it in this image.



I couldn't decide which ring shot I liked better. What do you think?



The sun finally peeked through a little bit by the time we made it to the actual beach. Perfect!
