Maya. A Toddler's Session.

Maya's family lives all the way across the country in Washington but came to visit NC and I got to photograph this sweet girl! Just look at her adorable blond pigtails and chubby cheeks :) Doesn't she just look like a cherub?

Photographing toddlers is totally different from any other kind of session that I shoot ... Maya has just started walking and she didn't want to hold still at all! It was a fun challenge, though, and I think we ended up with some great photos of this beautiful girl.



We started with a balloon but it popped within 30 seconds. Maya still had fun towing the string behind her.

She was totally loving these bubbles that her mom brought along.







Of course the bubble wand goes in the mouth at some point. What did you expect? ;)









I know Maya's daddy liked these kisses from his sweet girl.

I have been so incredibly busy lately! And I'm definitely not complaining... I have loved working with each and every one of these seniors, families, babies, and couples. I can't believe I get to call this my job.

Little Madison : NC Baby Photography

Meet sweet little Madison. Her mom, Jamie, was one of three pregnant bridesmaids at Kristin + Spence's wedding in October. I was so excited to meet her little girl! Madison was so sweet the entire time and hardly cried! I know Jamie is a proud mommy :) Enjoy the photos!

Baby Hudson

Ok, Hudson is so cute, cute, cute! We couldn't get him to smile for the longest time, but he was making some cute faces anyway. I love this first shirt he was wearing!





Check out those little baby fingers... oh my gosh.





Heidi had some awesome setups for the shoot! And Hudson totally didn't mind sitting in this basket. Even though he fell over a couple of times.

I love the in-between moments like this. So much work goes into getting babies dressed!

We finished the session just in time. Hudson was starting to get tired of it all. Thanks for allowing me into your home, Heidi! Your son is gorgeous.
