Emily (the mom) is author of the oh-so-adorable-and-inspiring blog Chatting at the Sky. She is a photographer as well and because I know how it is to never be in front of the camera, I contacted her about doing a family session. She thought it was a great idea! I hung out at their house Monday morning and these are a few of my favorites!
How beautiful are these eyes? And I love her mischievous smile!
This is one of the few times we got him to laugh! He was not very happy about me and my camera coming to his house.
How cute is this series? We used to play Power Rangers on our trampoline at home. These kids were much less violent and more cute and innocent.
A stolen kiss while getting ready for the "just parents" picture.
I'm so glad we got to do this session! Emily, I hope you enjoyed being in front of the camera for once!

That's John Freeman's family! He used to be the middle school youth pastor at Grace, and I worked for him for a little while! I love them! :-) So cute! Awesome pictures, Alexa!
ALEXA!!!! I can't believe it. I LOVE THEM! You did such a great job and I would never have guessed you were able to get some of these shots out of what you had to work with that day. Those kids were not in the picture taking mood, that's for sure. Thank you so much. I'm not even sure what to say.
