Brooke + Ruben's E-Session : Winston Salem, NC

There are so many things to love about this session. First, Brooke and Ruben are so fun and full of laughs (and their wedding is on 10/10/10!). Second, I love downtown Winston Salem. It was the perfect backdrop for two former art school students and their '71 Chevy Chevelle. There are so many things to shoot within a couple of blocks!

Let me just say, that is one good-looking but LOUD car! When Ruben pulled it over into this empty parking lot, I'm pretty sure all the nearby buildings shook. It was awesome.

I love Brooke's laugh. She was cracking up during the whole shoot! It made for some really beautiful, natural smiles. Also, see that necklace? SO adorable!

I was so happy when I realized the bus station was closed and empty on Sunday. I think these shadows are fantastic.

I could have shot on this street all day long. The light was bouncing off a building across the street and made a perfect spot for Brooke & Ruben to sit and hang out for a little while.

This is my favorite photo of Ruben from the shoot. He looks so happy and relaxed :)

I admit this probably wasn't the best location to lay down, but I love the images that we got here! After we shot these, we came up with all sorts of scenarios that could have happened if a car came around the corner... it was so funny!

This is my FAVORITE from the shoot. I think it would make a fabulous canvas print.

I love this one as a canvas, too. Such a cute little Eskimo kiss!

Amy + Brandon : Tanglewood Park, NC

This was my second of three sessions in a day. Amy and Brandon made it easy, though. They were so fun and easy to photograph! I love that they brought their puppies, Bella and Murphy for part of the shoot. They kept us laughing for a while.

001

Bella, on the right, and Murphy, on the left. Aren't they cute? They would only sit still when they saw that they would get a popcorn treat. I had never heard of dogs liking popcorn but apparently it works for a lot of puppies :)

I love Amy's smile. It's so contagious!

These were taken in front of the Tanglewood barn where Amy and Brandon are having their reception in September. I love the red walls!

This little spot by the lake was perfect for Brandon and Amy to get a little cuddle time. I love the sunshine coming through the trees :)

Brandon and Amy are so comfortable with each other. I could have left them on that quilt for hours and they probably wouldn't have noticed!

Again, the sunlight was killing me! I couldn't get enough of the beautiful light coming through the trees.

This is where I asked them about their first date. It was so funny hearing them remember what they thought about each other!

Amy loves to laugh. I got so many shots of her beautiful smile!

We finished up the shoot at the rose garden in Tanglewood. Sadly, there were no roses to shoot with so we stayed outside the fence. I'm a sucker for shadows and lines so this fence was perfect :) Brandon and Amy, I can't wait to shoot your wedding in September!
